We have just brought an old housing association house (1975 ish) and we would like to replace all the existing light switches. Only problem is we have never seen switches like this and after much searching we are unable to find any similar. They are about 2" wide and 3" high and they are set into the wooden door frames. I don't want to start digging out holes in my walls to re route the switches but I am at a loss. Does anyone know where I can get some of these light switches from or have any simple solutions?

Why are you replacing them? Are they worn out?

The 1G architrave switch is just over 1" wide & just over 3" tall.
