unvented cylinders again

just had unvented cylinder and new boiler installed - very nice too

installer has not completed Benchmark for either system
- will this affect guarantees in event of a claim?

Gas Safe certificate records installation of the boiler only - should it also state the unvented cylinder for Building regs compliance?

Yes unvented cylinders require building control notification , Re the boiler if the benchmark book isn't filled out if it breaks down under warranty the manufacturers might knock the warranty back. For your peace of mind get the installer back to fill them both out.

If he won't come back mention calling gas safe ! For a free inspection !!


Gas safe has nothing to do with the cylinder.
