Have had my Ecotec plus 618-Unistor system in place for 5 weeks now.

Very happy except for one issue - the dissolved air in the hot water from the taps. Of course the cloudy-milky water clears (takes c. 30sec) but I presume there is air in the Unistor.

How can I get rid of this air?

Installer is returning on Tuesday to recharge expansion vessel in boiler, show me how to empty Magnclean, etc, but I would like to try to resolve this issue over the weekend.

There is an AAV adjacent to the Unistor, which is 'slightly' open.

Help please!

Its normal for hot water at high pressure to clear dissolved air when that pressure is released.

Thats quite normal and not a fault. You will have to get used to it !

If you want more info look up the solubility of gases in liquids.

The Unistor will not have any air in, hence no air bleed fitted.

Any air in the cylinder will cpme out of the taps as spurts, not milky water.

This is as Agile says contain in the water under pressure so to speak.
