Hi All,

Can anyone offer advice on upgrading my old victorian panel doors to be 30 minute fire doors please?

This is an essential task as I have just converted my attic and to get building regs passed and this involves having all my doors fire proofed.

Also does anyone have any idea what this costs.. and where the best place to buy the intumescent paint / paper might be?

Very best

James

Can you not just put self closing door closer's on every habitable room door, ?

I have to have self closers and then as well intumecsent panels in the panels in the doors and two coats of intumecsent paint..

I was hoping someone on list may know where to get a good price on these products.. At the moment it's going to cost me over £450 to treat 6 doors.

Best
