Upside down CD

My dad in ireland has bought a new car and for the first time he has a cd player. Unfortunatley he has put the cd in to the player up side down. he is pushing the eject button but it will not come out. Has any one got any ideas. I am in London and he is in Ireland so its a a case of talking him through the eject process over the phone. Help please . Michael

Have a good look at the facia of the CD player, there may be a small hole
through wich you can insert a very slim screwdriver to manually eject the cd.
A heavy duty paper clip straightened out, usually does the trick, assuming there is a release hole.
If it's a face off player, remove the front then switch the player on and off, this will sometimes eject the CD.

If the reply above does not work them get a small pair of electronic pin pliers. They are thin enough to feed into the opening and grip the offending CD.

I have had to use this method myself.
