I have just fitted a new rubber gasket to my back door (which leads from the kitchen) as the original was not working properly.
Now when I go to close the door the bottom closes up against the gasket before the top. The door will close with a little effort and locks so at least the property is safe.
The door is fitted with a flag hinge I believe. I have checked around and it looks as if the adjustment to move the bottom slightly away from the frame is at the end of the hinge.
I have a full set of allen keys but not had any success in getting one to "bite" the female end to adjust. Can anyone tell me what size the allen key is likely to be or am I mistaken.
I should mention that the door has been adjusted a couple of times in the past by the installation firm, who have no ceased trading, in attempt to stop the wind coming in.
Thanks
