Ive got a couple of 6’ French doors to fit. I’ve got the self tapping concrete screws and packers. All good.

How many screws per side and what about top and bottom. The top is a concrete lintel which I assume will be hard as nails. The bottom is the DPC. Should that be drilled and screwed through? Keen to have them fixed in solid without going over the top. How much support does the foam offer?

Cheers

Level the cill then bed everything down on silicone.
Make sure to seal the ends of where the frames/cill meet. Also recheck the level once the weight of the door is on there.

Fixings at least 150mm from the corners then 600mm spacing.
If possible no fixings top or bottom (large doors may need a center fixing). usually foam and silicone will do the job
