NASA have banned the use of the word lunch.

aparently some one said, " i am off to lunch"

some one else said "what?"

the first blocke shouted "Lunch"

so the new operater pressed the button to fire the new satalite into orbit

the enquiry ended up with "I said Lunch, NOT LAUNCH !"

Countdowns sometimes skip the number five... because it sounds like fire... not sure nasa do, might be more a british thing!

The count down to the firing of several marine time cannons ( the midday gun ) omits the FIVE as it may be mis-heard as FIRE
