Using a bumpy rustic tile over window sil, Is it a issue

we are getting our kitchen tiles including around the sils of the window. We showed our tiler a rustic bumpy style tile. He placed it flat on the window Dil, and placed a cup on it and said " are you sure you want this tile, see this cup isn't balancing well". Is it a issue?

dont put your cups on the window cil simple thats what worktop are for

Your kitchen, do what you like. I wouldn't but that's my choice. How cleanable are your bumpy rustic tiles (I don't care but it is a trap- you see these things on display and they look lovely, get them home and fitted & suddenly you're having to spend an hour every night getting the slightest speck out of the nooks and crannies)
