Hi all. Can you please tell me the best way to drill a hole in plywood with a hole saw? Every time i use a hole saw to try to cut a hole in timber, being it plywood or floor boards, the hole saw jams and springs off my hands, the pilot hole bit breaks and i nearly break my wrist. I am surely doing something wrong! Is it best to use a battery drill or a 240 V one? Low speed or high speed? Thank you for your advice.

If you can get to the other side of the timber & clamp another piece of wood there you will drill through without problems, once through the piece you actually want to drill through just stop.
Drill without to much pressure on the drill,
