Vaillant 938

Hi,

I have a new 938 installed and as it is summer i have

• Reduced hot water temaprature to 35 degrees and
• Tured off heating
• Comfort option is OFF

The temparature on the panel still shows above 50 and it goes upto 70+ when hot water is in use. Does not look right to me. What should i do? Is it the setting or should i call Vaillant?

What programmer/controls do you have?

If it's a Vaillant model it is probably controlling both heating and hot water temperatures and the controls on the boiler may be doing nothing!

The figure you are seeing on the display when hot water is turned on is the tempersture inside the Heat exchanger taken from the sensors ,nothing to worry about
