Hi,

My central heating seems to have packed up this morning(luckily it's not that cold) The hot water is still working. Is there a simple way to check if the pump is at fault?

Pump runs on hw too. Sounds like diverter valve stuck, assuming your controls are calling for heat that is.

I thought hot water was mains pressure?

OK, so where does that leave me? Could it be the pump? Back to my original question is there an easy way to test the pump?

Would anyone care to elaborate?

If the heating is set to on and there is 240v at the pump terminals, I can assume that the pump is dead, correct?

undo the screw marked bleed and you can see the shaft turning

you will get a bit of water out so put a rag under it
