Hi All,

I'm struggling to find a trustworthy engineer to service my boiler, not just safety check, but for service to include descale and seal change etc.

Newbury Berks, any recommendations please?

That is not part of a routine service!

Thanks for your reply, yeah I've send Mike an email, he did suggest trying to contact someone more local because of travel costs and time etc.

I just assumed after 5 years it could do with a descale of the heat exchanger and gasket change, what's your thoughts?

Whatever it costs to do the job really, looking to pay a fair price, what do you think?

Heat exchanger shouldn't need a descale.

New gaskets are Sub £50 and add 5 minutes to the job.

This is not comparethemarket.com though. Prices vary by region.

Not really looking for price just recommendation for trustworthy engineer in my area.
