Starting valleys tomorrow. Correct me if I’m wrong.....

Carry eaves tiles all the way under the first valley tile.

Plain tiles either side of the valley tiles hold/wedge them in place in addition to the weight of the next valley up. Nail each adjacent tile.

At top where valley meets ridge, create a lead saddle. This will be 150mm overlap hidden by ridge tile. Should the ridge mortar be bedded onto tile or lead?

Is there any lead work require at the bottom?
