Valliant Ecoplus 428 heating probs

Hi

I have issues adjusting the heating on the valliant ecoplus 428 model boiler.
I tried understanding the manual but adjusting the radiator heating temp on boiler doesnt turn on heating.

I am new to this, can anyone help me turn it ON
Right now info i button shows S.30 mode
Is it possible to turn on & off the heating on the boiler as and when required or does it do itself automatically.

S.30 means that the boiler is not receiving an instruction to turn on.

What controls do you have? e.g wall thermostat, timer/programmer etc.

wall thermostat is there but i guess it doesnt actuslly function properly.

Boiler must be timed so it turns on ..on its own.

I want to know if this 428 model can allow heating to be turned on off whenever we desire manually even if it is set on timer.

Plus i dont know to check/adjust the timer settings too

My best suggestion would be to arrange a boiler service. While there the engineer can explain how all your controls work and set them up for you.
