My Vauxhall combo van is a 1.6 lpg/petrol. On Sunday when i drove it in the morning it was running great, then later when i was driving, it would on drive up to 3500 revs then it seemed to kick back and lose power.

The next morning i drove it and it was fine, the second time i drove it it was the same problem, the van would not go by 3500 revs. Even when just sitting still and revving the engine it stopped at 3500 revs.

It just seems to happen after after the van is warm.

A friend said it could be a sensor thats faulty, or an air meter

Any ideas folks

Mass airflow meter or Lambda sensor, something is sending a message to the ecu to restrict the revs.
