Our '03 Corsa, 1.0ltre, 3 cylinder has developed a loss of power when trying to pull away. Just had it serviced, new plugs/oil-air filters, fuel filters, etc but the mechanic can't figure out why when we try to pull away it just doesn't seem to have the power available. Its as though we have to wait for the engine to realise the accelerator has been pushed and is waiting for it to catch up. Once its moving there is no problem, its just trying to pull away that causes the problem.
Can anyone give any suggestions to a possible cause please?
Forgot to say, engine management light does NOT illuminate, in fact no lights come on to indicate a fault.
