vent confusion

as davebgas pointed out in the now locked vent thread it was 2008 that the classification changed not 2005 as i said. 2005 was the date that BG started refusing contracts for vents and upgrading them for existing customers.

apologies to kirkgas for making that mistake as you were right enough on that bit. :oops:

as i said earlier, posting here keeps us up to speed with a bit of banter, :D
 
Actually on an open flued boiler or flueless fire, 2 ventilation NTC would have made it at risk from around 2001. Doc ref; GSM 01/01
 
That would be any open flued appliance not just boilers.
