Hi,
a few weeks ago my bath tap started banging and vibrating when turned on i checked the boiler and it seemed ok no low pressure or warning lights. I turned on the water top up valve for a few mins and this seemed to cure it it has now started banging again.
It is only the Bath tap which is a mixer tap that causes this. no noise from central heating, toilet, washing machine, or other taps upstairs or downstairs. Any ideas on whats causing it and is this dangerous?
Thanks in advance

Hi there,

What kind of tap is it, if an "normal" wheel head type that you keep turning to open, then could just be a loose jumper in tap gear.

If ceramic 1/4 turn them could just be loose pipework.

The tap is a mixer tap, has 2 handles 1 hot 1 cold and a lever in the middle to switch from taps to shower
