VOKERA COMPACT HE

I have a Vokera HE boiler and have been experiencing the following problems.

1, The Water Temperature in the Shower goes from Hot to Cold and then back to Hot. This has been going on for a few weeks.

2, Tonight there is no Hot Water or Central Heating. When you run the Hot Water it Sounds like the Boiler has powered up but still nothing happens.

3, The Permanent Red light fault is on, but when you Power off/on it comes back on Green.

Any advice would be appreciated.

they have a 2 year warranty, when was it fitted?

you could be looking at a faulty ntc thermistor

min/max gas pressure needing checked

flow regulator choked (remove,do not replace)

That's usually the hot water heatr exchanger blocked up, on the heating side. It can be removed and replaced or cleaned. Not all boiler men will just clean them, cos they don't know how. Probably NOT covered under warranty.

When these stop altogether it's quite often an airflow thing so corgi/GSR man needed.

and your heat ex theory is possible, but with our water quality north of the border, is highly unlikely.
