I have a Vokera Compact HE Boiler in a flat which is let out my problem is the boiler fires up ok and heats rads which get very hot and then the boiler cuts out only pump running the room stat is still calling for heat when boiler cools a little it will fire up again and cut out when stat is satisfied
The Installation and Service Manual says it should modulate until the desired heat setting is reached

why is my boiler not doing this

You will find the problem is the boiler being oversized for the rads or undersized rads whatever way u want to look at it. What is basically happening is the boiler is reaching temp before the room stat is satisfied usually this will cause boiler cycle because the room stat has still to reach temp there will still be a call but because the boiler stat has reached temp it wont fire until the boiler temp has dropped causing the boiler to cycle on and off for more periods in turn costing more money ! Usually your common issue in a new build house and especially flats !
