There is definitely power to the boiler but neither the display LED or the digital display are showing anything. Both internal fuses are fine and can hear the clock timer working, but pilot not lit and boiler does nothing.

First trouble I've had in three years

help me...

please

sounds like a dead board..have you checked for 240v at the boiler with a meter?

can't check it as my multi-meter broke a few weeks ago. But because the timer is working am assuming there has to be power getting to the boiler.

If it is a dead board, any idea how much/best place to get hold of a new one?

Your timer could have a battery backup I'm not that familiar with the model you need to carry out your basic electrical checks.
For pcb the part number will be in the manual and a supplier here

thanks very much - I'll get myself another meter and check tomorrow.

cheers for the link.

A common problem with these was the (rotary) knob breaking, it often feels as if it is still doing something, but there are no reactions to it. Hope this is your problem.....boards are pricey
