Engineering forums are amok with posts from "qualified engineers" who can't put two words together and haven't a fekin' clue what they are asking about.

It's usually just some chump in Dehli trying to figure out how to do the job he said he could do on his CV.

"Oh hai! I iz replacing this jet enginz on this boing plane please tell me how thanks."

Seriously....
Wind the neck in fella, still waiting for you to explain how to replace radiator valve on a live system. Let that be a new discussion. Let that be a challenge.

At post 1 Continual re ignition is classic symtop of the piggy back control module, if explsive ignition and control module was working correctly, it would show a 01 or 04 code, no code its the ign control module on the gas valve, but not all lineas have them only the earlier ones

Since advice on gas related matters is not meant to be given in the DIY section of DiyNot then mods might start deleing some of the posts here.

To DIYers, it always helps to try to describe noises as accurately as possible.

Banging from the area of a boiler might just be someone stuck in the toilet behind the boiler. Locks on toilets seem to be prone to jamming.
