VRC470 DHW settings

System comprises, Ecotec plus 637, VRC470, VR65, VR10 Megaflo unvented.

I have just installed the VRC470 in my control system and all seems to work ok.

I have one question regarding the DHW timing settings on the VRC470.

There are two selections, one is Preparation the other is Circulation. As far as I can discover from Vaillant tech support and perusing the installation and operating instructions.

"The Preparation is the actual DHW heating period and Circulation relates to the control of an external DHW circulation pump as in bigger installations and which I don't have."

Hence I do not need to set up the Circulation times, only the Preparation.

Can anyone confirm this?

as you have said the pump circulation programme is for a pump you dont have so doesnt need setting.
