With two people, half turn loosen the lock shield in to the rad, lift rad from hangers and drop down 90 deg resting the rad on a couple of paint pots. Tighten lock shields temporarily, paper behind rad and then reverse the process.
For a decent job do as above and drop the rads (it will mean bleeding the rads and topping up the system afterwards)
You can get away with dropping (Well Pasted) paper behind the rads using a long flat piece of thin timber ( Yard Stick) to guide it down, then roller it using a long handled Radiator mini paint roller to ensure the paper is well stuck down, as the heat might lift the paper if there is insufficient paste on it.
Cutting the paper to the rad brackets can be a problem, cut to the inside of the brackets ( in case of miss cutting) as one does not look down behind the radiator
