Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of this?

I have moved into a new house and I don't know what is going on with it.

Is this usual behaviour -

When I turn it off, either by the thormostat or the switch, the fan continues to pump out cold air for an period of time. Sometimes 30 mins sometimes 2 hours??

The fan might continue to run, it is designed to run if the heat exchanger is above a certain temperature.
Has it been serviced? if not I would suggest you get it done - most warm airs have an open flue, which is a potential rist of fumes getting into your rooms.

On old WAU's there was a low limit stat which over ran the fan. This may be set to low. I've not worked on them for years, but I assume the idea is still current.

When moving into any new home, and you don't know the history of the gas appliances, a priority should be a full service by an RGI.
