Is there an accepted definition of what fair "wear and tear" is when a new car warranty excludes this on tyres, brake discs/pads etc?

If your brake discs and tyres wear and you've not done many miles can you claim under your normal consumer rights of "quality" and "fit for purpose"?

e.g. Warranty covered 60000 over two years and I did less than 20 with a careful driving style.

I think it would be a case of proving it....for all the garage knows, you could be teaching folks to drive, or have a driving style like Mikko Hirvonen....
But, at 20k your tyres could be 2/3rd worn, and your brakes somewhat less than that.
