I should've explained, I've already drained it as you describe by removing the drain hose and filter. Problem is it still won't open.

Perhaps if I keep searching the various stuff on youtube...

Maybe if I put a supply directly onto the door lock cables. Although there are three cores, and I'm not even sure if it is actually mains voltage or if it's stepped down!

No , under no circumstances should you be connecting the switch to anything else. It will be mechanically jammed if it does not open with the power switched off & should be physically unlocked ie unscrewed or whatever is required. I'm not familiar with your washer so cannot give you specific advice about it's removal.
