Washing Machine Door Seals

I need to replace the door seal on my INDESIT WM 12 X machine. how do I get the outer spring tensioned band off ?. Is there a special tool ! or can I make one. hpoe some one can help. Many thanks in advance

Which one is it, the one on the drum or the one on the front panel.

just a thought

check the surfaces are clean on the closing edges as a small bit off crud can break the seal

That easy , place into the grove on the the front panel and slot into place make sure spring is at the bottom.
