Hello ,

Washed runners in Zannussi washing machine, it seemed to stop halfway, couldn't get door open so had to drain it - now it will fill but won't spin.

Have had a look in side in case it was something obvious - belt seems in place but drum cannot be turned manually - Have had a look for anything obstructing the drum turning , I can't see anything but haven't taken it apart completely as I'm unfamiliar with them and it doesn't look easy to dismantle/reassemble.

Any ideas what it might be?

How I might fix it?

How much repair might cost?

Cheers

Had this on mine, turned out it was the brushes in the motor, bought some of ebay for £15.00. Job done.

If you are not confident taking it apart get someone in, and if you do do it yourself, make sure you unplug it, and isolate the water, electric and water is not a good mix.

Do you mean trainers??? If so that's not a very good idea. Either its swallowed your laces & jammed the drum or the motor is seized :(
New brushes won't help you very much. Take off the belt & check if it is the motor or drum.

And if they both move freely check the brushes
