i have a 40mm waste pipe which connects shower and bath!when i empty the bath water comes up into shower tray!is there a non return valve i can put in as i cant fit another waste from shower

but you may also have a partial restriction/blockage which is not helping the situation. Showers should never be connected into the bath waste run!
