Hello!

Any help is much appreciated

We have a sliding door to our rear garden that appears to be letting water in on the sill. The sill has come loose from the brick underneath and is now tilting backward which is pooling water. Is this likely to be where the water is coming in and what’s the best solution?

Cheers

Charlie

Seems likely, also that pointing won’t help. Why is there some dpm showing?

The pointing underneath the sill? The ground is high in the garden, so I’m planning to dig a channel in front of the brickwork and fill with gravel.

How would I secure the sill back into place and where should I silicone?

Not sure on the DPM, it goes underneath the sill
