Hi, I have recently installed a Honeywell T6360b room thermostat and the heating is working fine switches on/ff as required BUT it now seem that the water is contiuing to heat up although it is not switched on? The boiler seems to fire up and heat the water even though we have set it on a timer - any ideas??

Probably down to your motorised valve(s) then... got any...?

sorry im a real novice, what are motorised valves? and is this this something connected to what i have done in installing the thermostat or something seperate? Thanks

I now understand what the Motorised valve is and what it does, but have searched the house and can only find a pump for the shower located near the tank - I have looked at the boiler but unable to see a valve connected to any pipes near that - any ideas?

Something is triggering your boiler.
Could be timer, zonevalve or or froststat.
