Hi, come home from 6 weeks holiday to find two water related problems in the house
1) Cupboard where the boiler is housed, one of the pipes had developed a small slow leak and there is now mould and damp on the wall.
Plumber has fixed the leak problems.
What is the process / way to clean up and sort out the wall from the damp? Presumable you just scrub the mould off?
2) Light water damage in the kitchen ceiling. Here there are the brown spreading patches on the ceiling. Not sure whats causing this one, its not the heating pipes above, could be the roof as its single story....but im off to investigate now. When the problem is solved, what is the best way to sort out the water damage to the ceiling.
Thanks for your advice
chris
