The end room at the motel where I work has developed a serious water hammer. The pipes go from 1/2 copper to 1/2 galvanized to a 3/8 supply to a kitchen sink. Would going to copper all the way and a 1/2 supply to sink stop the hammer? Also could I loop the hot water line to join back to the hot water line so that the faucet is not at the end of the line.
