Recently moved into a rental and the bathroom is practically unusable because the water leaks out onto the floor from the glass frameless screen over bath. Does anyone have an idea to solve this issue. I tried to attach a bath strip under the glass but the gap is only 5mm, so if I force t attach it, then the glass doesn't move and the water still leaks from the point where I circled in pink.
By the bath strip I meant the shower screen rubber... I tried it, didn't work because the water still leaked out of the gap where I circled in the pics. Besides the gap underneath is only 5mm. Most strips don't even fit properly

That actually wouldn't solve the issue. A few contractors specialized in bathrooms inspected the bathroom and they said that this bath glass was not made to use with a strip. The screen is fitted correctly. This is a common problem in Australia apparently. Poor designing. I will try the corner protectors to see how it goes.
Maybe refer the defect to your landlord/agent for attention.
Have seen them hinged frame less screens used in wet rooms, just to divert shower spray water away. so they dont need a seal on the bottom of the hinged screen and also it looks like there (i could be wrong) is no seal where the hinged screen meets the fixed screen vertically between the hinges.
So this screen unit maybe is not be suitable for over bath installation. That bathroom could previously been just a wet room and at a later stage a bath was added with rental in mind.
