water marks on celing

Hi i had a water leak on my flat roof, have repaired the leak, but now am left with nasty stain on celling.

I know i cant paint over stain as it will come through again. So any ideas please how to cover or get rid of stain. and also do i have to paint the whole celling again.

Use oil based undercoat. Cheap as chips and does the job. If your ceiling is discoloured you'll have to paint the lot otherwise no.
