Last December, I had a new combination boiler installed – Vaillant EcoTec Pro – which replaced my 12-year-old old Ravenheat.

All’s well with the heating and water apart from the towel rail radiator in my bathroom (which is upstairs in my two-floor house)

The radiator consists of three rails – the top one goes lukewarm every three weeks.

To solve this, I keep releasing air from the radiator – and quite a bit comes out.

And the whole process is repeated again three weeks later!

Should I need to keep releasing air from the radiator? Would this indicate a problem with the water pressure in the system?

There was no such problem with that radiator prior to the new boiler being installed.

Hope someone out there can help!

are you switching the heating off before you bleed as sometimes you will pull in more air than you get out .
also it could be methane gas if the system has no inhibitor in

Methane gas?? Not unless the gas main has been fed into the central heating pipes.... Maybe you mean hydrogen gas? ;)
