Water proof thing for wooden post or concrete post?

Just started digging for my decking,Have big level different about 1 m
On the end I want to make a timber wall I need to put posts on the corners for construction,Is it will be better to use concrete posts or wooden one ,but cover with some antimoisure paint or something?

Timber would be easier to fix to; use the normal pressure-treated posts.
