A Fused Spur is required to supply a Hand WaterHeater which is situated in front of a sink. Where can the fused spur be installed? The flex is to go in the front of it. Can it be placed above sink with heater or above draining board? Or does it have to be 300mm away from these?

As long as it is suitable for its environment i.e. it isn't going to get splashed etc then there aren't any special regs regarding how far away the FCU needs to go, have you considered putting the a SFCU elsewhere and a flex outlet local to the boiler?
