We all follow the Chelsea

There were stories early today about the owner of their ground threatening to kick them out and were due a meeting of the board this afternoon.

Suspect it isn't out of the goodness of their hearts more they would be in breach of contract and out of their ground and finding nowhere to play their silly super league.

Chelsea own the ground. Then there is the Chelsea pitch owners.

Fan power just happy Chelsea pulling our will now be the undoing of this idiotic idea.

Ahh yes Chelsea Pitch Owners - only scanned the news and it then seemed to disappear until the "breaking" news earlier.

Still, the outcome is the same, no right to use the pitch, no point.

We'll see, the billionaires involved will probably plough on regardless.

It’s the Americans that are holding out & pushing for it originally. It’s like a bloodbath of CEO’s

Ken Bates set thst up so something like this could not happen.

Marler estates owned Stamford Bridge and where going to knock it down to build homes.

The country went into recession and so did Marler Estates. Ken bought Marler Estates and folded them... He set up Chelsea Pitch owners to protect Chelsea Football Club.

"Chelsea and Manchester City are preparing to pull out of the European Super League after rival football clubs, managers, players, fans and politicians united in opposition to the controversial plans."

"Manchester City said that it “can confirm that it has formally enacted the procedures to withdraw from the group developing plans for a European Super League”.

"Ed Woodward, Manchester United’s executive vice-chairman, has resigned from his position though he will continue work for the club until the end of the year. Manchester United, owned by the US billionaire Glazer family who are among the architects of the Super League, declined to comment."

Ha ha!

"Football Super League crumbles as all 6 English clubs pull out

Leading English football clubs have pulled out of the European Super League, in effect killing off the breakaway competition after rival teams, managers, players, fans and politicians united in opposition to the contentious plans.

Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur announced that they would withdraw from the new continental league, as the remaining Spanish and Italian clubs were left to survey their dwindling options."

Goes to show how powerful this country still is. I think if the Union stays together we should join the English and Scottish leagues.
Rangers and Celtic joining the Premier league will make it even greater than it is now.

Load of fuss over nowt imo

group of football clubs thought about creating some league / tournament

so what

all the fuss over the caper
Was OTT imo

As for Chelsea we used to go up to every home game

in the days when the only foreigners in the team were Scots or Irish

only cost a couple of squid to get in and 25p for a seat if u wanted one

good old days of Charlie Cooke
Paddy mulligan
Hudson
Hutchinson the long throw in king
Etc etc

All it shows is that the premier league is the most overfunded football league around, and billionaire owners have put up a collective wetted finger in order to gauge which way the current opinion/revenue stream is as regards their best interests!

Edit: And Bayern Munich were the first to decline.
Brexiteers should be up in arms as to the 'influence' Germany still has

They were never invited.

They were never invited.
The biggest club in Germany was the first to reject the idea...

Which bit of 'REJECT' don't you understand?

"Leaked documents reveal Bayern Munich, PSG and Borussia Dortmund WERE invited to join the European Super League despite claims of Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez... but all three clubs REJECTED the proposals"

"At about 17:00 BST (Tuesday) Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich confirmed they had said no to the ESL"

As usual your 'facts' are wrong/out of date! :)
