(1) Is this site recognised in the IT industry as being well informed ? If so, is it sensible to use the Browser with least vulnerability ?
(2) How do I know that I am actually looking at my Web Banking site ?
If I have typed or copied (Ctrl c ; Ctrl v) the URL directly into my browser from a known source, say a .txt file on floppy disc, but not ever from an e-mail or other web info.
There are no other pages / windows etc open or other progs running.
I can view the 'site certificates' ? How can I tell one from another, valid, invalid ? or a scam ?
