A wonderful self serve buffet with every possible goody (1975) :p
Everyone had a fab time :p
Apart from me who was dissolved into panic re the speeches :(
No booze (married into methodists :p :(
Still very happy, but well boozin' :D
John :)

It was a self catering buffet in a local scout hut which might be a clue as to how long I’ve been married. ;)

Beat ya by 4 years Burnerman but we did have booze & had to vacate the venue, swept & clean by 23:00 ; we were in bed by midnight ;)

Food was a running buffet, far easier.

Some family members were aussie and they hate fruit cake. So I ate all the cake :D

Had a rather risqué dance with the "Maid of Honor" it raised a few eyebrows..........

Foie gras, crayfish, guinea fowl, lots of cheese, croquembouche. nom nom nom.

Can't remember. It was in a local hotel and we spent the night at a different hotel (can't remember why that was either!!). Can't remember much of the wedding night to be honest. I think the marriage was consummated the next morning!

Some people like to do things with a bit more style though... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-12440948

Being a shy and retiring 22 year old, with the threat of 'the speech had better be right' put the kybosh on the day for me
No longer shy and retiring though :p
John :)
