I feel moved to record my regard for the build quality of our 11 yr old WFF2001GB washing m/c. I have just replaced the brushes (worn to the copper cord!), after it refused to spin. The motor was in 'as new' state, apart from the worn brushes and lots of carbon dust - but a blast with the air gun and some meths on the comm, it's as good as new and ready for another 10 years. The motor bearings , drum bearings and belt are all in the same state, the inside is pristine. Over the years the only faults have required a pump and on/off switch.
I hope that current bosch build quality is as good - somehow, I think not.
