Hi All,
Just had some upvc window units replaced for new ones, the fitter told me that the upstairs window's lintel was wet but he was unsure whether this had been caused by the old windows being badly sealed or some other cause.
I would be grateful for any suggestions so I know what sort of problems I might be looking for.
The house is over 100 years old therefore no cavity, the house has been rendered and painted with a smooth render and paint.
Things I've already thought about but yet to check: tiles lose or broke, crack or damaged render and gutter problems.
Any suggestions gratefully recieved!
Cheers Guys
Jamie
