Hi Guys,

Im creating a wet room on a timber floor but Im not going to be installing a wet room tray, I want to create the fall and set the waste in the floor and tank the room and tile etc.

Whats the best way to approach it when not using a wetroom tray, what materials are best to use etc and tips

Im going to use shluter ditra tanking membrane on the floor and then probably a bal paint on taking system for the walls with the tape for the screw heads and joints.

I also want to install a waste with a grate rather than a square or round drain so was thinking of a schluter kerdi drain

Thanks

When you say timber floor...

Joist size/depths..spacing ect..

Is it a ground floor?

IMO put a..wet room former... Down less hassle..and it will cost not much more than trying to do the gradient yourself..

Because if your asking in your OP ...re:materials ect...sounds as if you may be in over yer head ever so slightly

Luv to know....

What the answer to the above will be....

Ya get question......ask for some info....

.....and no reply?
