As you can see in the photo below, we have a channel cut in the screed for the conduit containing the UFH floor temperature probe to run in. The probe is there to measure the subfloor temperature and prevent it from rising above 27C, which could damage the engineered wood floor which is to be fitted on the screed.
What we don't know is whether we should leave the end of the floor probe itself, which sits outside the end of the conduit 1. in the channel which the conduit lies in or 2. sitting above the channel on the surface of the screed, directly beneath the engineered wood floor, in the small area shown in the photo, circled in black where we've written 'NO ADHESIVE'. So my question to those of you who have the requisite knowledge is which do you think we should do and why? Thanks.
