Hi everyone, i am considering making my existing downstairs bathroom into a wetroom. I have looked a little bit into doing this, and i know there are various wetroom kits out there. Could anyone who has experience of this installation point me in the right direction of which kits are best and also any pitfalls to look out for.
Thanks

I would think the first thing to consider is how you are going to get the water out of the room, given that water is very reluctant to run up hill.

Consider which drainage systems are suitable for the floor construction you have (wooden floor, concrete etc.), and how you are going to keep the water where it should be, possibly by re-laying the floor with a fall away from the door etc. etc.

I would be inclined to avoid any drainage solution that involves a pump if possible, given that anything that can go wrong probably will at some point.
