HI, I was reading a DIY book the other day which had different types of cylinders. Now its got me puzzled on what i have !
My cylinder stands about 1m tall, on top of it theres a built in tank thats about 500mm high containg cold water with a float. The main cylinder has no immersion heater but it has a thermostat (settings 1 to 7)fitted on the pipe between the cylinder and where it tee's off to the boiler and up into the ceiling. All of this is located in the ground floor bathroom of a 3 bed semi. Oh yeah..and theres a tiny little tank upstairs in the loft.
Its simular to the 'thermal store cylinder' in my book but i have no expansion vessel or mains pressure hot water.
Anyone know what its called?
