Hi

Have started tiling my bathroom, 30x60 tiles.

Probably a bit late now! But am curious to know what these arrows mean?

Have put all the tiles on with the arrow pointing up, seems like the bottom of the tile is cut flat and the top of the tile is cut slightly bevelled.

Any ideas?

Many thanks

This way up?

Probably so you get all the tiles with the "slightly bevelled" edge the same.

It's because all the tiles are produced in one direction so they should all be laid in one direction, if you laid them out on the floor beforehand randomly the tiles may look a bit mismatched, nothing to do with up or down. Draw the arrow direction on the front in pencil to avoid any doubts when laying.

Thanks for the replies, I am putting them on the wall.

I have put them on with the arrow facing up, so the flat side is on the bottom and the bevelled side is on the top.

Nothing on the box to say, its weird whats the point of the bevelled side?

Guess I just carry on as I have been but stange as you get the flat edge and bevelled edge.

Just fought it was some simple reason.

Done a whole wall and was then getting worried I had messed up!

Last ones I done a few years back were straight edges

Any other theories?

Thanks all
